The Ketch Gas Field is located in the Silver Pit Basin of the southern North Sea (UK) in water depth of approximately 54 metres; 28 kilometres south of the Caister and Murdoch Fields and 160 kilometres northeast of the Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal (TGT) on the Lincolnshire coast. Faroe is the operator for this licence.

The Ketch Field was discovered in 1984 by exploration well 44/28b-1 which was drilled to a depth of 4500 metres MD.  Development approval was granted in 1998 and gas production commenced in September 1999.  Faroe acquired it’s interest in 2014.

Production from the field ceased in August 2018 with the closure of the export system and onshore gas facility at the Theddlethorpe terminal.
